Snickers Game of the Week
=========================

Team Squizard vs SteelCityBLITZ

Team Squizard and SteelCityBLITZ was the only week three match-up that had teams with a .500 or better record. SteelCityBLITZ missed their original projection for a second straight week. That was the difference in the game. Team Squizard had the higher projection. They barely exceeded their original projection in the win. T-Squizzy got off to a fast start in the weekly spotlight game. The SteelCity Boys had to play catch up for the rest of the game. Team Squizard exploded for a league high 356 points in the 2nd quarter. Patrick Mahomes led the way with 64 points. SteelCityBLITZ trailed by 181 points at the end of the quarter. They would make the game interesting by going on a 145 to 68 run in the 2nd half. Kyler Murray led SteelCityBLITZ with 37 points. The SteelCity Boys have not won a quarter since their Week 1 win over Trikz. Hopefully they can turn it around next week against Mariah Rene. Team Squizard won the Week 3 Gillette ProGlide Razor Thin Award with a margin of 104 points. That was the largest winning margin of victory for the weekly award this season.

Mariah Rene vs Trikz

Trikz had visions of winning their first game of the season against Mariah Rene. They secured a quick lead after one quarter of play. But they ran into a buzz saw in the 2nd quarter. Mariah Rene tallied 305 points to overtake Trikz for the lead. It was their best 2nd quarter scoring performance of the season. Trikz had the largest deficit after 2 quarters of play in the league. They would chip away at the lead, but it was not enough to secure the win. Mariah Rene took home both the High Score Award and the Biggest Blowout Award. They are the third team in the league to win both awards in the same week. Congrats Dale! They passed the lb hooters for 17th place with 4 DirectTV High Score Awards and they passed DEF Winzzzzzz for 27th place with 2 Toyota Tundra Biggest Blowout Awards.

Bayou Breeze vs Purple People Eaters

The Purple People Eaters won their second game in a row last week against the Bayou Breeze. The P-Men never trailed in this game versus Bayou Breeze. The Purple Eaters got a great game out of Joe Cool. Burrow led the league in scoring with 94.50 points. The Bayou Breeze will have to regroup after their week three loss to the Purple People Eaters. They are riddled with team injuries. De’Von Achane and Jonah Coleman were placed on IR last week. The good news is Puka Nacua will suit up on Sunday. The Purple People Eaters recorded their first wire-to-wire win of the season. The red-hot Purple People Eaters have won 9 straight quarters.

Cucamonga PATRIOTS vs Yappiedog’s Rule

The Cucamonga PATRIOTS and Yappiedog’s Rule is alway a good game. The lead in this game traded hands three times before a winner was declared. Yappiedog’s Rule jumped to an early lead after the first quarter of action. That normally does not bode well for the winning team. The Cucamonga PATRIOTS erased the lead in the very next quarter of play. They extended the lead, but the Patriots momentum was waning. The key to victory for Yappiedog’s Rule was the 3rd quarter. They won the quarter, but still trailed by 55 points with two to go. Yappiedog’s Rule tallied a league high 70 points to secure the lead for a 2nd time. They would close the game out in the final quater scoring 54 points. They ended the game by going on a 124 to 0 run in the final two quarters.
