Congratulations once again to Yappiedog’s Rule for taking home the League Title for a 2nd time since joining the league in 2022. Well, how did the Champ fare on Kick-off Sunday? Yappiedog’s Rule did not experience the same success on December 22, 2025. An old foe in Mariah Rene took out the Champ in the Week 1 Snickers Game of the Week. Mariah Rene got a great game out of the dynamic duel of Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs combining to score 156 points. Mariah Rene passed Calvin&TheChipmunks for 24th place in career Game of the Week points with 1360. Well Done. SteelCityBLITZ had themself a day scoring 585.50 points as they cruised to their first win of the season. Caleb William powered the offense with 108 points good for 3rd in points scored on Sunday. Tyler Shough topped all fantasy players with 132. They will take on the CUCAMONGA PATRIOTS in the Week 2 Snickers Game of the Week. It is amazing, the Patriots stopped a three game losing streak on Kick-Off Sunday. Two of their top three pick hit except for James Cook. Josh Allen had a monster day scoring 131 points and it looks like week 2 will be a carbon copy of week 1 for Mr. Allen. He is an early candidate for player of the year. Team Squizard rounded out the top 4 with their 2nd straight win on Kick-Off Sunday. Kenneth Walker led the way with 74 points.

I am excited to say that everything will be posted on the PPR AND IDP Football League homepage. I will no longer post anything on Yahoo because of the format constraints. I hired a guy from Upwork to design the website for all 13 leagues that I commission. He bailed on me after three weeks. He only completed half of the pages of one league which was the 1882 T-Formation League. And I could not edit what he completed. It was a total nightmare. But he gave me a framework to build off of and I completed all 13 leagues with the help of Chat GPT. Man, I am amazed at what AI can do. It should be another fun season. Mariah Rene vs Yappiedog’s Rule

We start the Snickers Game of the Week with Yappiedog’s Rule hosting the first Snickers match-up of the year. This is a rematch of last year’s Week 3 Game of the Week between Mariah Rene and Yappiedog’s Rule. Yappiedog’s Rule won the defensive battle 414 to 375. We got 6 quarters of play last week and Mariah Rene dominated play most of the day with the exception of the 2nd quarter. Yappiedog’s Rule outplayed Mariah Rene 48 to 4 to win their only quarter of the match-up. Kyren Williams led the 2nd quarter scoring for Yappiedog’s Rule with 30 points. Yappiedog’s Rule fate was sealed in the 3rd quarter when Mariah Rene went a league high 425 point run. Jahmyr Gibbs led the charge with 80 points outscoring his quarterback by 5 points. Their margin of victory for the 3rd quarter was the largest of the week (252.50). It was a matter of just managing the game for Mariah Rene for the last 3 quarters of play. Yappiedog’s Rule cut into the margin in the next quarter, but they went silent for the last 2 quarters scoring zero points. Mariah Rene went on a 92 – 0 run to close out the game. Mariah Rene passed some milestones in their Game of the Week matchup against Yappiedog’s Rule. They passed Calvin&TheChipmunks for 24th place in career points with 1360 and they moved pass the lb hooters for 23rd place with 3 career wins. Congrats Dale!

SteelCityBLITZ vs Trikz

Kick-Off Sunday was a rematch of week one of 2025 between SteelCityBLITZ and Trikz. Trikz won that game on the arm of Josh Allen posting a ridiculous 164 points in that game for Trikz. It’s funny because Lamar Jackson was involved in that game for the SteelCity Boys. He posted 77 points in that game. Jackson would have better numbers in this game, but would it land a victory for Trikz in week 1? Or will the SteelCity Crew steal to show in ink out their first win of the season? Trikz started the game by going on a mini run outpacing the SteelCityBLITZ 100 – 33. But the momentum shifted at the beginning of the third shift for Trikz. The SteelCityBLITZ got hot in the quarter outscoring Trikz by 118 points. They posted 357 points in the decisive quater which was good for 2nd place in the league. The SteelCityBLITZ would not look back as they went on a 196 – 59 run to close out the 2nd half. They were projected to finish last on Draft Day, but that is why we play the game. SteelCityBLITZ led all teams in scoring with 585.50 points. They earned their 8th Direct-TV High Score Award of their career. The SteelCityBLITZ passed the King of Limbs for 9th place All-Time with 8 High Score Awards. They were not done picking up weekly awards for week 1. They also won the Toyota Tundra Biggest Blowout Award with a margin of 187.50 points. SteelCityBLITZ is tied for 7th place All-Time with three other teams with 9 career Blowout Awards. Congrats John.

Cucamonga PATRIOTS vs Purple People Eaters

The game started out slow for both teams on Kick-Off Sunday. Neither team could muster up more than 25 points in a single quarter for the first 2 quarters of play. But that would come to an abrupt halt at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Both teams exploded to score a combined 656 points in the quarter. Which led the league. The Cucamonga PATRIOTS outlasted the Purple People Eaters 399.50 – 256.00. It was both teams’ best scoring effort of the day. It would turn out to be everyone’s best quarter except Yappiedog’s Rule. They posted a team high in the 4th quarter (230.00). The Purple People Eaters fought valiantly in the 2nd half to get back into the game after trailing in the 3rd quarter. They outscored the Pats 241 – 199. But it was not enough to secure their first win of the season. The Cucamonga PATRIOTS recorded the only wire-to-wire win in week 1. They got a great performance out of Josh Allen. Their 3rd round pick tallied a league high 130 points in the victory. They will square off against the SteelCity Boys in week 2 in the Snickers Game of the Week.

Team Squizard vs Bayou Breeze

The Team Squizard vs Bayou Breeze was another rematch of Kick-Off weekend of 2025. Team Squizzy won that game in a breeze. Bayou Breeze made the game interesting scoring a league high 188 points in the fourth quarter. 2026 would play a lot different than 2025 for Bayou. They led from the opening kick. Team Squizard would have to inch their way back into the game after digging themself into a deep hole. The Bayou Breeze squeaked out a one point lead after one. They built on that lead for three straight quarters of play. The tide turned in favor of Team Squizard in the 5th quarter. They trimmed into Bayou Breeze’s lead cutting it down to a manageable 45 points after the 5th quarter of play. Team Squizzy tallied a league high 91 points to secure the comeback victory. Kenneth Walker had a monster day scoring 74 of the 91 points for Team Squizard.
