You win the quarter battles and you win the game. They are the only team in the league to not lose a single quarter. Well played RODBO! Team Squizard matched the Patriots’ energy by securing their second straight victory of the season. Mariah Rene needed a monster game from Davante Adams to secure a comeback victory last week. Mariah Rene currently sits on top of the League’s Power Rankings with a record of 2-0. The Purple People Eaters evened their record to 1-1. They have amassed 144 career wins in their storied career. The Week 3 Snickers Game of the Week will pit Team Squizard vs SteelCityBLITZ.

Cucamonga PATRIOTS vs SteelCityBLITZ

The Week 2 Snickers Game of the Week between the Cucamonga PATRIOTS and SteelCityBLITZ was closer than the scoreboard would indicate. The SteelCity Crew suffered a major injury to their starting quarterback in the 2nd quarter. They were within shouting distance of gaining a lead prior to Williams going down with a leg injury. The SteelCity Boys will have to scour the waiver wire for week three or start Kyler Murray. You know who does not have a quarterback problem. That would be the red-hot Cucamonga PATRIOTS. Josh Allen dropped 120 points against the SteelCityBLITZ aiding the Pats to a 2nd straight wire-to-wire victory. Allen was in the top 5 in scoring again last week. The key to victory was the first quarter. The Pats led the league in scoring with 183 points. That would put the SteelCityBLITZ behind the eight ball for the rest of the game. The SteelCityBLITZ would make the game interesting in the 2nd, but they could not sustain their offensive momentum throughout the rest of the game. The Patriots shut the door on any comeback attempts. They outscored the BLITZ 167 to 31 in the 3rd quarter. The Pats took home both the Direct-TV High Score Award and the Toyota Tundra Biggest Blowout Award. They are ranked 2nd all-time with 35 High Score Awards and they are ranked 3rd all-time with 35 Biggest Blowout Awards.

Team Squizard vs Trikz

Trikz had a feeling of Déjà Vu last week. They were up early against SteelCityBLITZ in week one only to lose the lead before the half. Well, they extended their lead by a quarter before giving way to Team Squizard at the start of the 2nd quarter. Trikz outplayed Team Squizard in the 3rd quarter, but it would be their last quarter of outscoring Team Squizzy. T-Squizzy had a monster 4th quarter scoring 108 points which led the league. They would close out the game in the 5th quarter to earn their first win of the season.

Purple People Eaters vs Yappiedog’s Rule

The last game of the day saw the Purple People Eaters take out Yappiedog’s Rule. Yappiedog’s Rule struggled to post numbers for a second week in a row. The P-Men would take full advantage by going on a streak of winning four straight quarters. The only bright side for Yappiedog’s Rule was they prevented the Purple Crew from winning wire-to-wire. They topped the Purple People Eaters 24 to 1 in the first quarter. The key to victory for the Purple People Eaters was the 2nd quarter. They tripled the scoring output of Yappiedog’s Rule. The Purple Crew would not win another quarter, but they did enough damage in the 2nd quarter to secure their first win of the season. Congrats Matt!

Bayou Breeze vs Mariah Rene

The best game of the day happened in the Bayou Breeze vs Mariah Rene week 2 match-up. Bayou Breeze was looking for their first win of the season and Mariah Rene was looking to extend their winning streak. Mariah Rene would start the game by taking a lead. Historically, that is not a good sign because the opposition would normally take the lead and keep the lead in the 3rd quarter. Bayou Breeze would do just that in the 3rd. Unfortunately, the Bayou Breeze could not extend their lead in the 4th quarter because neither team had starters playing in the quarter. So the game would come down to the final quarter where Mariah Rene would have the home field advantage. They knew exactly what numbers to hit because the Bayou Breeze employed all of their starters in the first three quarters of play. Correction, Bayou had Puka Nacua in their lineup, but Nacua did not suit up for the 5th quarter. Davante Adams did suit up and play for Mariah Rene. Dart went down with an injury and the load shifted to Adams. Adams delivered scoring a team high 59 points securing the comeback victory for Mariah Rene. Mariah Rene earned their 5th career Gillette ProGlide Razor Thin Award in the win. They passed DONE for 14th place all-time.
